BCC submissions to UK government consultations

The Border with the EU: Importing and Exporting Goods – draft version

The draft model of the future border design is now available for Chambers and members to review. Feedback and input into the draft from business and industry should be returned to Liam Smyth by Friday 26 June.


BCC letter to Secretaries of State for Business and Education

This week, Claire Walker and Hannah Essex wrote a joint letter to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Alok Sharma MP and Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson MP. The letter highlights the need for a clarity surrounding the return of pupils to schools so that employers and employees can constructively plan together for the future. Please note this is a private letter.
